n a recent report, Entertainment Weekly confirmed that the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 9 is titled "Battle of the Bastards." And it will be one of the strongest episodes of the season as it is expected to feature the epic battle between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton.
While Jon Snow is determined to conquer Winterfell, Ramsay Bolton must do everything to protect it. As teased by the "Game of Thrones" (GOT) showrunners, battle between House Bolton and House Stark is one of the "biggest battle in the show's history."
The network is yet to release an official synopsis for "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 9. However, the epic battle is assumed to be the high points of the 60-minutes-long penultimate segment.

Considering that the showrunners decided to showcase the decisive battle in the penultimate episode, Independent UK is speculating that there might be a "giant twist" coming in the season finale. Unfortunately, official synopsis and plot details for episode 10 titled "The Winds of Winter" is still not out yet.

Earlier in March, speaking to EW, "Game of Thrones" (GOT) writer and producer Bryan Cogman teased a "proper" battle scene in Season 6. It is assumed that the showrunner was talking about the upcoming "Battle of the Bastards" set to feature in episode 9.

The website notes that upcoming battle is "like a classic campaign that you typically only see in major films: Hundreds of human soldiers on one side of a field, another army on the other side, and then there is a clash that is highly tactical, yet character-driven, and shown from start to finish." Fans must brace themselves for another epic clash.


"It's definitely the biggest [action sequence yet]," Cogman the website.

In the meantime, fans know that House Manderly is yet to declare their allegiance. With House Umbers and House Karstarks on Ramsay Bolton's side, House Stark definitely needs a stronger army.
