Nancy Davis Reagan  (born  Anne Frances Robbins ; July 6, 1921 – March 6, 2016) was an American actress and the wife of the 40th   President of the United States ,  Ronald Reagan . She was the  First Lady of the United States  from 1981 to 1989. Nancy Reagan, one of the most high-profile and influential first ladies of the 20th century, (US) has died. She was 94. The cause of death was congestive heart failure, according to her rep Joanne Drake, a spokeswoman with the Reagan Library.
